We are locally owned and operated in Farmington, New Mexico, but ship products to customers around the world in a timely manner. Southwest Shooting Authority has had to make some substantial changes in the way we do business because of our growth and the addition of a number of new programs and products. The following is a partial list of the products that we carry and the services that we provide. We have recently become the first and only distributor (aside from the manufacturer) for the Comp-Tac line of holsters. We are also distrbutors for Fobus and Command Arms. We welcome dealer and law enforcement inquiries.

Ammunition: Our ammo inventory continues to increase. We try to carry all popular calibers as well as some obsolete and a variety of military surplus ammo. Shooting Accessories for all your hunting and shooting needs. Gun care and target shooting products, eye and ear protection, holsters, magazines, slings, bi-pods, and rifle rests to name a few. Tactical Equipment: We carry a variety of tactical gear by Camel Bak, Eagle, Blackhawk, Fobus, Safariland, Bianchi, Galco, Benchmade, CRKT, Kabar, Wilderness, 5-11 Tactical and others. We are also the only distributor for the excellent Comp-Tac kydex holsters in the United States other than the manufacturer. Dealer inquiries are welcome. FINALLY, A GLOCK ARMORERS CLASS! - We will be conducting a Glock Armorers class on 10 May. The class will include segments on the history, construction, maintenance, repairs, conversions and much more of the our favorite handgun of all time, the Glock. This will be an 8 hour class. Note: This is NOT a factory certified class but will be conducted by a certified armorer.

New time and day for "THE SHOOTING BENCH" !! Please tune in to "The Shooting Bench", on KENN 1390 AM for the latest updates on laws, new firearms info, defensive firearms info, Concealed Carry issues and a whole lot more. We have once again made arrangements to DOUBLE our time to a full 2 hours! The new show will be moving from Wednesday to Tuesday morning from 7:00 to 9:00 AM Mountain time. We are beginning to archive "The Shooting Bench" on our website and it is also now available via podcast. You can hear these shows here: "The Shooting Bench". Not only can you call in (505-325-5366) or e-mail us at ross_sports@yahoo.com with your questions or suggestions for topics that you would like to hear discussed but now you can visit us LIVE at TJ's Diner in downtown Farmington! With this new show comes additional expense in both money and time. We do not want to add sponsors and take up more of your time with additional ads and we do not want to start charging for the podcast. We will NOT accept sponsorship from companies that may make folks believe would influence our opinions. We will keep The Shooting Bench running as long as we are financially able to. If you would like to help us defray the added costs associated with the additional air-time, we will be setting up an online store for that purpose. The online store will contain selected items that you can purchase or you can make financial donations online. If you wish, you can also contribute by phone or mail.
- There will be no more Hunter Safety classes in the foreseeable future. Maybe in late summer. We'll post it here when and if we decide to.
- If you're thinking about buying a gun and then sending it to us to have it customized, consider buying it from us to start with and save sales tax (unless you're in NM) and shipping costs one direction!
